Taeyeon is to be casted as the main female role in a musical.
The musical in question, is an adaptation to the Japanese book turned film/dorama, "Taiyou no Uta" (タイヨウのうた/Song of the Sun). Her role is to play a sickly girl who, through her special illness, can not be exposed to the sun but remains to keep a positive attitude about life.
This is her first musical and we can all expect great a performance by the leader!
From personal experience watching the Japanese movie and dorama, the story is very good and Taeyeon is a perfect match to play the role!
