[IY] Episode 13 (011510) - Soldiers and Puppies

NOTE: I am unable to upload cuts (once again), so I apologize for that! But please read on for summary and highlights! Hopefully, come next episode I'll be able to cut! It just depends if the file I get isn't messed up to where I cannot edit it through WMM. If anyone wants to help ensure that I get a good file, please be sure to tell me in the comments section :)

To kick off the episode...we see G7 trudging towards the house in what looks like a foot or two of snow! Bear Taewoo starts throwing snow around and singing Love Snow. Unexpectedly, Shinyoung shoves Hara into the snow. Taewoo follows suit and shoves Narsha! Next, Hyomin and HyunA gets to bite the dust...er snow.



When they get to the house they discover a blanket of untouched snow in the yard! Like excited children, they line up and get ready to run in it. Taewoo suggests G7 tell us what they hope for in the new year and the one with the best will get to step on the untouched snow and have it granted (like a wish).

Hopes for the new year...

[Sunhwa]

Sunhwa - "For Sunhwa, (Secret's) mini-album will come out soon..."
Shinyoung - "Wrong, wrong wrong! Start by talking about your major album first...(since Secret is a newbie group)"

[Hyomin]

Hyomin - "That the planet isn't destroyed..."
Shinyoung - "Wrong, wrong, wrong!"
(She's been watching too many movies)

[Yuri]

Yuri - "I wish to lay comfortably (old saying, meaning 'to get lucky in wealth.')
Shinyoung - "That's a bit_(?)_. But anyways, you're first place for now."

HyunA cuts in with her whiny character - "Why is everyone doing this jokingly!? I have a serious one!"

[HyunA]

HyunA - "My first single came out..."
Shinyoung - "Change (in engrish)? Alright, then change..."

In the end, they let HyunA do it so that her single is a "daebak"; success.

The rest join and a snow fight ensues! Taewoo gets ganged up by G7 and is covered in snow.
HyunA - "That's not how you do it! You need to put snow inside his clothes!!"
So they put it down his pants, hahaha!



HyunA, Hara, and Narsha are chosen to go out to do a public service and also to get a puppy for the IY family! The rest stay back to clear out snow and the "Love Triangle" (Taewoo, Yuri, and Sunhwa) starts up a bit again. Sunny and Shinyoung are not amused...lol. Taewoo makes them make makeshift snow shovels but they didn't work out so well and the girls' pick up green bucket shovels instead leaving him...well... ^^;;

A rock-paper-scissors game starts when they need to clear off the snow from the roof of the house. Loser has stay underneath the falling snow as it falls off of the roof!

Loser turns out to be Yuri! Yuri spins happily and with bad pronunciation, she says "O genki desuka?" (How are you? in Japanese)

HyunA, Hara, and Narsha finally get to the place with the puppies! Most of them are scared and hide under a wheel barrow, lol. There was a puppy that had short legs like a Daschund but it was a Jindo, hecka cute.

HyunA is chosen to interrogate the three selected puppies (like she did to the rooster in an earlier episode)

HyunA - "Whoever wants to come with us noonas raise your paw!"
Obvious outcome...lol
"Don't you want to come with us? Don't you want to see Yuri?"
A dog walks away...
Narsha - "Omo, he doesn't like Yuri!"
HyunA - "He likes you unnie!"

In the end they pick out the one with the midget legs and bring it home! xD
They name it Wang Yoochi (thanks to Hara) which means "super childish" but can be turned around and be thought as "a dog from Yoochi(ri)."

At home, the veterinarian from before (for the cow) comes to check on the dog and other animals. Shinyoung flirts with him much to the dislike of G7 and especially Narsha (who flirted with him before as I recall). In the end, all the animals are dubbed healthy.

Later, G7 go to clear out the snow around a church and another facility. That's when the army soldiers come to help! Before they start, there is a popularity ranking contest where the soldiers stand behind the G7 member they like best!

The most popular is...Narsha!

The soldiers and G7 go off to clear snow together and talk (very lucky)!

Yuri asks a soldier - "From the first time you saw SNSD, who did you like first?"

The soldier chose Sooyoung and then Tiffany. But quickly recovered by saying he likes Yuri the best now. Yuri then asks who he likes out of G7 and he said he likes and is a fan of Shinyoung!!

Yuri - "I thought you were my fan!"
Soldier - "My bad?" xD
(He then explains that he's a fan of Shinyoung as a entertainer and is a fan of Yuri as a singer.)

The talk between the two continues and the soldier continues to give Yuri a bad time as a joke.

Later, as they continue on to clear out the snow at the church, Sunny does a 3-set of "Aegyo that you want to punch" for the soldiers that picked her earlier! Not entirely sure they liked it, hahaha. She does some more aegyo as a drunk girl, and that didn't work out so well either.

Shinyoung does her aegyo...and I guess, it speaks for itself, lol.

After clearing snow, Narsha, Sunny, and Hyomin go to check on the grandmother (that Narsha is close with) and brought water and after that they go to make ramyun (I've never seen so many ramyuns being made all at once!) for everyone and do "bbong" talk (which they did last episode) which is when they talk about things but they aren't true for fun ("bbong" means fake or joke).

As they eat, Hara entertains the troop with her childish gags. And as always, they are... ^^;
HyunA joins in and her's aren't good either, lol. Hara then does butt-dance from Mister and after, Narsha does the Abracadabra dance and kisses a soldier on the cheek as a prize for doing the dance well.


Next Time...

Looks like they're going to give Wang Yoochi a bath, do a dog quiz, and do more farming!
