[IY] Episode 15 (012910) - Korean Lettuce and Mushrooms

Note:
Sorry guys for saying I was going to post this yesterday. I had some things come up and couldn't get to this until today! ^^;

No video cuts again! >_<

~(?) - Are words or things said that I'm unable to translate because I can't hear or I don't understand, lol

--------------------

To kick off the episode...G7 take care of the animals! They let out Yoochi to go take care of his business (go poop) and exercise. They even let the cow calf out into the meadow. The calf gets excited and starts to rebel!

It reeks havoc by running away from Taewoo (who was holding onto the lead) and running straight toward some G7 members! Eventually, the calf was taken under control and ends the escapade!

Hyomin: If you guys keep on walking all over me, I'm going to run away like that!

Hyunah:
(waves goodbye) Take care!

Both of them laugh, hahaha.

After, Sunny, Hyomin, and Narsha are teamed up to plant Korean red-leaf lettuce with Shinyoung. The entire process was actually surprisingly long and slightly complex.

First off, they had to dig up the ground with a machine. They all took turns using it. Sunny was the worst one out of all of them when it came to using it, hahaha!

Next, they placed down some heating wires to keep the lettuce warm in the winter as it grows. Then after, they lay out some vinyl with holes to place the lettuce sprouts in.

Finally, they start to plant the sprouts hole by hole. They start to sing old trot songs to entertain the old guys and themselves as they planted. They ended up rapping about lettuce (Narsha and Shinyoung). The Sunny+Hyomin couple continues as Hyomin raps about Sunny and as well as sings in broadway-style, lol.

After planting and watering, they put another canvas over the lettuce and yet another blanket to keep them warm during the winter! (See, lots of work! ^^;)

On the other team (Yuri, Sunhwa, Hyunah, and Hara), they go out to help cultivate some mushrooms!

Beforehand, they try to introduce themselves in other languages. Hara was having troubles with Japanese, and Taewoo picks on her with his Engrish, lol. Yuri and Hyunah introduce themselves in Chinese and Sunhwa ends up speaking in a Busan-accent because she couldn't speak in a different language, ^^;

When they start to pick the mushrooms it turns out, the other SNSD member wasn't very good at doing her job either! Yuri, couldn't properly take out the mushrooms at the beginning, hahaha!

Sunhwa: Taewoo oppa...

Taewoo:
What?

Sunhwa: ...do bears eat mushrooms too?

Taewoo: Of course!

Sunhwa:
Oh really?

Taewoo:
Bears eat everything! Do you know what a bear likes the most?

Sunhwa: What?

Yuri:
Girls.

Sunhwa laughs and Taewoo is speechless for a moment, hahaha!

Taewoo:
Bears like your love the most!

Sunhwa and Yuri sigh in shame, lol!

When they finish, they are rewarded with 12 jars to grow mushrooms at their house. After, at the house, Hyunah and Hara go to check on the chickens and they find 3 eggs! They hope to see more eggs next time!

Next, they start a quiz! So far winners of the past quizzes include: Hyunah, Hara, and Sunny!

The 2 losers of the quiz are punished by having to grow some mushrooms at their dorm!

The first question was to have them all write a single letter spelling out "pumpkin" in English.
They end up spelling "pempinn", hahahaha!~

The incorrect spellers include: Sunhwa, Hyunah, and Hara!

They end up talking about how Sunny was born in America and she should say it in the correct pronunciation or something like that.

Sunny gives an excuse not to do it:
Sunny: As soon as I was born I ended up in Kuwait!

Taewoo: Then do it in a Kuwait prounounciation!

Sunny: From Kuwait and I went to Korea!

She ends up getting out of doing it, lol!

Next question (? - I'm not sure what it was...); and Sunny got it correct!

The question after that was name 3 groups with fruits in their name in 3 seconds! Yuri gets it right and dances weirdly (you should see it for yourself!) and embarrasses Sunny, lol!

The next question is a math question! It was a long and confusing adding/subtracting question and most of them lost track.

Surprisingly, Sunhwa kept track and did the math correctly! Later, it was discovered she had a chart to help her, hahaha (She wasn't punished for it though)!

The final question was to name a drama or movie that has a fruit or vegetable name in it. Yuri got it right!

Therefore, Yuri was the winner for this quiz and gets to own the lettuce they are growing!

Hara, Hyomin, and Hyunah then have to have a mini competition to see who among them will be the 2 losers who have to grow mushrooms at their dorm!

Hyomin asks for Sunny to be a team with her while Hara and Hyunah become a team! (Forever Sunny and the Folding Screen couple! xD)

In the end, Sunny helps Hyomin get the correct answer and Hara and Hyunah are stuck with mushroom growing duty!

Hyunah: (starts to whine) My members (4min) said if I come back home again with something to grow they won't let me in the dorm!

Hara does a self-cam at her dorm while she is growing the mushrooms! She does a good job growing them!

Thus, ends this episode of Invincible Youth!
